This is a video recording of a webinar we held in October 2021
Replay our uplifting webinar where we focused on reasons to be cheerful! We explored potential big-ticket drivers of future longevity improvements.
Living through a global pandemic, with the continuous news feed of daily mortality statistics, the the availability heuristic and the negativity bias mean we have a natural tendency to focus solely on recent bad news stories. In our Longevity is a risk, not just an assumption series, we focused on some much-needed reasons to be cheerful!
Our discussion explored potential drivers for significant increases in future life expectancy. We enjoyed hearing the insights of experts close to the frontier of longevity innovation. We discussed advances in tackling the current most common causes of death, the pipeline for developments in longevity technology, levels of funding for key industries and how the organisation of multinational collaborations is accelerating innovation.
